Fire Safety Education Helps Keep the Community Safe
Education is an important part of preventing fires and protecting lives. Miami Township’s Fire Prevention Division provides public education on fire safety to residents, businesses, schools, and community organizations.
A major focus is working with local schools to provide age-appropriate fire-safety training for children. The division also offers safety training for nursing-home residents and employees, as well as commercial businesses that request assistance.
By helping residents and workers understand fire risks and prevention, the program aims to make the community safer and better prepared.
